Mr. Correia graduated from the Central University of Venezuela with a degree in Law and a postgraduate degree in Criminal Procedure Law. He furthered his education with a diploma course from the Criminal Police University Institute (IUPOLC), National Prosecutor College (2012), and IV Diploma Course in Substantive Criminal Law, Procedure Criminal Law and Criminal Evidence from Colombia Externado University (2014).

He has worked in the public sector as acting prosecutor of the 131st Prosecuting Attorney's Office of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas with jurisdiction over advocacy for women (2016), assistant acting prosecutor of the 82 nd National Prosecuting Attorney's Office with jurisdiction over advocacy for women (2012), assistant acting prosecutor of the 143 rd Prosecuting Attorney's Office of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas with jurisdiction over advocacy for women (2010), associate counsel II (assistant) of the First Prosecuting Attorney's Office for Environmental Advocacy of the National Prosecuting Attorney's Office. He is conversational in Portuguese.
